Resume Bank
Introduction:
Amrita Career Portal is an indigenous career guidance portal eclectically designed to help job seekers find their careers at Amrita. Job seekers can avail of jobs by registering themselves in this portal, and searching and applying for different jobs that match their profile.
In the career portal besides the regular process of candidates applying for a published job, the administrative user can upload the resume of candidates directly to the resume bank which will be shared among the other administrative users.
The administrative user can go through the resumes listed in Resume Bank to pick the adroit ones matching their requirement. Let us see how can we use the resume bank feature in the Amrita Career Portal.
Getting Started:
To access the Amrita Career Portal

- Open an internet browser (Recommended to use Google Chrome)

- Type https://my.amrita.edu/ and click enter

- Login with your amrita email ID and password.

- Click AMRITA CAREERS

Add Resume:
1. Click Resume Bank at the top menu
2. Click Add Resume button at the right-top of the resume list page.

3. A pop-up window opens where you need to

- Add the name of the candidate

- Add the Highest Qualification of the candidate

- Select appropriate tags from the list

- Upload the resume (Recommend to upload pdf/docx files)

- Click the save button

4. The resume you uploaded will be listed on the resume list page. This will be visible to all those who have access to Resume Bank.
Search Resume:
- You can search resumes based on name, qualification, or tag.

View / Download Resume:
- In the Resume List page you will be able to see the list of resumes uploaded by yourself and other administrative users to the bank.
- Click on the View button at the right end of the row to download and view the resume.

Delete Resume:
- Click on the Delete button at the right end of the corresponding resume row to delete the resume. In general, you will only be able to delete the resumes you uploaded.
