Add Holidays in E-Track
Introduction:
The purpose of this document is to illustrate the importance of new attendance system. Amrita E-Track is an indigenous application designed to help the organization to run a digital attendance system.
Here we will look how HR Admin of a School add Holidays in E-Track.
Getting Started:
To access Amrita Attendance Management System
Open an internet browser (Recommended to use Google Chrome)
Type https://my.amrita.edu/ and click enter
Login with your amrita email id and password.
Click AMRITA E-TRACK

Add Holidays:
Holidays can be added through two methods.
Method 1: From Other Settings.
This is the easiest method to add Holidays.
Go to Other Settings in the left side menu.
Click Create Holidays

Provide the From and To Date
Mention the Reason
Specify whether the holiday is for Full day / Forenoon / Afternoon
Now select the category to which the Holiday applies to. You can Mark Select all to apply to all categories or select the relevant category to which it applies to.
Click Add button to add the Holiday.

Method 2: From HR Administration
Go to HR Administration in the left side menu.
Click Holidays
Click Add button (+) at the right end of the page

Add Holiday window opens.
Select the From and To date.
Specify whether the holiday is for Full day / Forenoon / Afternoon
Mention the Reason
Select "Yes" if it repeats.
Select the employee category for which the Holiday applies.
Click Add button to save and close.

Created Holidays will be listed in the Holidays list. You can edit or delete the holiday by clicking the Edit or Delete button under Action.
